Felicity Jones was born in Britain and is most well-known as the actress who was Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones, who has been acting since she was 12, has appeared in many TV series and movies. She began by appearing in The Treasure Seekers, a film on television. Then, in The Worst Witch (a television series), she played Ethel Hallow. The sequel The Weirdsisters College was also made. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on to play in other movies. The actress gained acclaim for her performance in films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her performance as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' that won the actress an Oscar nomination the very first time. Jones received high praise from viewers and critics alike because she played the character of Hawking's wife, in The Theory of Everything, a Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno which starred Tom Hanks was next on her resume. Jones was awarded the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, due to her extraordinary talents and contributions.
