Anna Leigh Ashford
Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American actress singer and dancer. Her first Broadway role, she was the role of Essie Carmichael in Wicked Legally Blonde Hair. She was awarded an award from the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in the Play for playing Essie Carmichael in You Can't Take It With You. Annaleigh Ashford Tony Award winner actor has worked with many well-known directors and actors on stage and screen. The award-winning actress continues her career through her forthcoming projects. Ashford's next venture will be an exclusive Hulu series titled Welcome to Chippendales, created by Robert Siegel. The show premieres on November 22, and Ashford stars opposite Kumail Najiani. Ashford's current project is Searchlight Pictures horror thriller Dust, starring alongside Sarah Paulson and Ebonmoss-Bachrach. The film will be available on Disney's DTC platforms, as well as Hulu Original. Ashford's Broadway return will take place in the month of March 2023, when he plays alongside Josh Groban for the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd.
